Cat of the Week – Meet Pulgas
My name is Pulgas and I am the Arlington Animal Services, Cat of the Week! My owners brought me into the shelter on January 14, because they were allergic to me. I was sad because I would love a fur-ever home where I can live for the rest of my life! The volunteers think I am a Norwegian Forest Cat. Check out how gorgeous I am! I am a male, already neutered, and I weigh only seven pounds. So as you can see, I am all fluff! All the volunteers and staff love my personality. I purr, purr, purr, and purr even more! I love to be loved on, and petted all over – it makes me so happy. I am friendly, affectionate, and total sweetheart! Come meet me today and see what a love bug I am… and I am warning you now, you will fall in love! My ID number is 18907700.

Doesn’t “pulgas” mean “fleas” in Spanish? Is that a nice name for a sweet kitty that you are trying to get a home for?!

Pulgas was named by the owners who brought him to Arlington Animal Services. However, anyone who is willing to give him a home can certainly give him a new name, too.
