Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington Looking for Summer Workers

Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington is ready to start hiring people for the summer, so get your résumés ready.  A job fair is being held at the theme park on Jan. 12 & 13 to fill about  1,000 jobs for the 2013 season. A second fair will be held Jan. 19-21.

There are job opportunities available for those interested in learning more about the theme park and hospitality industry including: games, rides, retail, food services, admissions, entertainment and marketing research.

Interested applicants should visit the Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington jobs website  and fill out an application prior to attending the job fair. Most of the jobs pay between $7.25 and $9.00 per hour. Interviews are expected to begin at 10 a.m. each day.

  1. I’m hoping my son doesn’t want to apply at Six Flags because I don’t want him downwind from the pollution of the GM factory and their gas wells. Through open records, the 2011 plant emissions in VOC’s alone were 557 tons per year which generates 4,447 pounds per day of ozone. The gas wells (not including when the site is in pre-production activities) is another 20 tons of emissions per year.
